Deployment Ceremony
Clint & I had the opportunity today to go down and see the Deployment Ceremony for Aaron's unit. Aaron will be at Fort Bliss for a couple months and then Iraq for 9 months. This is my SIL Cathy's brother that lives not far from us. It was a very moving ceremony and a great sendoff. Two of the infantry regiments can trace their heritage back to the Alamo! Wow. This is the largest mobilization of Texas National Guard since WWII. Rain cancelled the flyover, but it was still great!
